Front End Web Designer

Queritel is a data collection and analytics company helping food and beverage and CPG  brands gather product  and consumer analytics data across Latin America and the Caribbean region. We are looking for a Frontend engineer to join our growing team. 

About This Job

We are looking for passionate, collaborative and creative software engineers to join our growing Frontend team. We are creating an entirely new suite of intuitive and sophisticated web applications for  our customers to unlock the power behind the Queritel platforms, and you will play a pivotal role in the future of the Queirtel’s SaaS offerings.

What you will do:

- Lead and drive projects across our web stack,

- Create powerful and delightful user experiences by building sophisticated, intuitive user interfaces that bring to life the insights collected  through Queritel suite of products.

- Promote strong collaboration of cross-functional teams, working closely with our Product, Design, Data and Leadership teams to drive the vision of the company. 

- Mentor and coach other engineers on design techniques and coding standards

- Take ownership of our technical roadmap and work closely with our team on ensuring the scalability, performance and security of our applications.

What we look for in you:

- 5+ years of experience in software engineering, and 4+ years of experience building and shipping customer-facing web applications using Javascript and modern technologies such as React.

- Familiarity with experimenting and shipping features with component-based UI frameworks.

- Strong experience with shipping responsive, mobile-friendly features.

- In-depth knowledge of current trends and best practices in modern front-end design architecture, including performance, usability, and security.

- Demonstrated technical leadership in driving impactful customer-facing projects, such as being the architect or tech lead.

- Desire to promote and thrive in a positive, collaborative environment; having fun at work while bringing delight to our customers

Nice to have:

- Experience working in the SaaS space

- Experience with data visualization
